Melinda Bargreen (b. 1947) Melinda Bargreen is a Seattle-based composer and who was classical music critic of The Seattle Times from 1977 to 2008, and now writes freelance reviews and articles for KING-FM Radio (www.king.org) and for several national and international publications (both print and on-line).
She started piano studies at four, and composing at five. Melinda has B.A. and M.A. degrees from the University of Washington, and a doctorate in English and Comparative Literature from the University of California, Irvine.
