Popular clinician Jeff Johnson activates the mind, body and the singing voice using visual, auditory and kinesthetic activities. Movement is used to alleviate tension and energize the body, motion is used to create emotion. Includes rehearsal techniques for posture, breath control, tone, expression, blend, intonation, articulation, and rhythmic awareness.

Dr. Johnson has conducted numerous state honor choirs and has been a frequent clinician at ACDA and Music Education conferences around the country. At the University of Kentucky, he conducts the University Chorale, UK Choristers, and the Men's Chorus. He teaches advanced choral conducting choral methods and literature, and directs the graduate program in choral music. In addition, he is presently Music Director of the 160 voice Lexington Singers, a community chorus that regulary performs major works with the Lexington Philharmonic Orchestra.
