Three a cappella songs on the theme of water, the poems by the famous Spanish poet Federico Garcia Lorca, the colorful music by an Argentinian composer. Forever is composed of Nows is the second piece of two in a set titled Emily Dickinson Speaks of Time and Eternity. The first piece is The Chariot. Both pieces have conservative ranges making them accessible to young developing choirs, and each piece features some unison writing, a canonic section, and easy four-part writing. The piano part cleverly adds interest while providing harmonic support for the singers.
