Women's Chorus
Women Who Came Before Us
Ellen Fishman-Johnson
The composer used great imagination setting this provocative poem by Naomi Shihab Nye that takes us back to the days of our grandmothers and great grandmothers. Like a little chamber opera, the voices and the creative sounds of the instruments together tell the story. Treble choirs of all ages can revel in this unusual, and very special piece.
