Vicente Chavarría currently serves as Artistic Director of LA-based early music ensembles Flos Campi and La Monarca, and Director of the Gloria Dei Choir in La Habra (CA). He has composed and arranged music for such artists as Chanticleer, Helen Donath, and various ensembles at the University of Miami, University of Southern California, and Clemson University. He holds Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from the University of Miami, where he founded and led Fra Angelico Chamber Choir and the Sibelius Camerata; he also served as Artistic Director of Amazonia Vocal Ensemble, with whom he has toured Florida and Puerto Rico. He is currently pursuing a doctorate in Early Music at USC and assists with the USC-Thornton Baroque Sinfonia. He lives in Los Angeles.
