BEST SELLER

The Hodie chant is skillfully combined with “O Come Emmanuel” in the neo-medieval style. Organ may be substituted for handbells. Can be sung “in the round,” or used as a processional. A great program opener or closer. Also available for SA or TB

"My treble choir just performed the SSA version and loved it. There's plenty in the piece that they can sink their teeth into with lots of technical and musical challenges, historical context, chant technique and performance practice, etc. In performance they were spread around the auditorium to really give the audience an "experience" instead of just a performance and it worked out well. We took some of the performance practices from the mixed arrangement that we thought were very cool (some dynamic shifts and then how to perform the aleatoric section). This is a great piece that is off the beaten track of your typical Christmas repertoire and something the audience will not forget."
