 Corin Overland

Corin Overland was born in 1973 in Duluth, Minnesota, where he began his studies early in jazz and classical piano. Corin attended Gustavus Adolphus College in St. Peter, Minnesota, where he studied conducting with Karle Erickson, Kenneth Jennings and Douglas Nimmo. He graduated magna cum laude in 1995 with degrees in choral and instrumental conducting, and began teaching high school chorus. Currently, Corin is a Master's candidate in choral conducting at the University of Missouri's Conservatory of Music (Kansas City) under the tutelage of Eph Ehly. He resides in Kansas City, Kansas where he continues to be active as a clinician and composer, receiving commissions from around the Midwest.
