 John F. Campbell

John Campbell (b. 1955) has composed and arranged numerous vocal and instrumental works for all ages and abilities. His teaching experiences range from public and private elementary schools to college. He holds undergraduate degrees from the University of Texas at Austin and Texas State University, an MM in music composition from the University of Connecticut, and a DMA in music composition from the Peabody Institute of the Johns Hopkins University. He is past president of MUSIK, the Maryland Chapter of the Organization of American Kodaly Educators. In addition to OAKE, he is a member of ASCAP and the American Choral Directors Association. A native of Texas, he resides in Maryland with his wife Mary, a pianist and musicologist, and their two daughters, Maura and Emma.
