 Melinda Bargreen

Melinda Bargreen (b. 1947) Melinda Bargreen is a Seattle-based composer and who was classical music critic of The Seattle Times from 1977 to 2008, and now writes freelance reviews and articles for KING-FM Radio (www.king.org) and for several national and international publications (both print and on-line).

She started piano studies at four, and composing at five. Melinda has B.A. and M.A. degrees from the University of Washington, and a doctorate in English and Comparative Literature from the University of California, Irvine. Melinda was Artist in Residence in April of 2009 at Gordon College (Mass.). For more information, see her website, www.melindabargreen.com
