 Sandi Peaslee

Sandi Peaslee (b. 1938) is a composer, choral director and keyboard artist with degrees from the University of Minnesota and Harvard. For twenty-nine years she taught high school choral music in Lexington, Massachusetts. Her outstanding choirs frequently performed at MENC and ACDA conventions. In retirement, she is an active choral adjudicator, and performs professionally as a harpsichordist/pianist in the Boston area; she is the former director of the Halalisa Singers. Her choral composition, The Singers, won the 2000 Vincent Silliman Anthem Award sponsored by the Unitarian Universalist Musicians’ Network. Mrs. Peaslee resides in Marblehead, Massachusetts with a husband, a sailboat and a very large garden.
