 Brian Holmes
Brian Holmes (b. 1946) has written extensively for choir and voice; his compositions include ten song cycles; three one act operas; two musicals; over fifty Christmas carols; a requiem mass; two carol sequences for soloists, chorus, and orchestra; and a variety of works for orchestra, band, and chamber ensembles. He has numerous commissions, prizes, recordings, and publications to his credit. Holmes is a physics professor at San Jose State University in California. He has given over a hundred lectures on the physics of music all over the USA.
