Peter Frost
Peter Frost (b. 1956) received his Bachelor of Music degree in vocal performance from the Hartt School of Music in Connecticut and Master of Music degree in music education from Lehman College, City University of New York. For sixteen years Peter worked in independent and public schools teaching music and theater. For twenty years, he has been a soloist and music director in various churches. From 2004-2009 he served as the Music Director of the Children’s Aid Society Chorus program that consisted of eighteen choruses (K-12) in New York City. Peter is the Music Director at the First Presbyterian Church in Mahopac, New York. A published composer, he has been commissioned to write choral compositions by the Briarcliff Congregational Church, The Children’s Aid Society in New York City, Colgate University, the Hudson Connection Piano Duo, and the Great Neck North High School Jazz Choir. His compositions have been heard across the U.S. including schools such as: Bard, Connecticut College, U.C. Davis, Sarah Lawrence, and the Metropolitan State University of Denver. Peter lives with his wife and pianist Hui-Mei Lin, in Westchester County, New York.
