 James G. Kantor
James Graham Kantor (1967-2013) composed works for churches, community choirs, choral festivals and college/university ensembles. He earned his B.M. in Mus. Ed. and M.M. in Choral Conducting at Westminster Choir College, The School of Music of Rider University, and his D.M.A. in Conducting from The University of Arizona. As a tenor soloist, he gave many recitals and appeared with the Westchester Band [NY] and the Tucson Symphony [AZ]. Dr. Kantor taught in both public and private school settings, and served as the Director of Fine Arts for Ridgefield Academy [CT]., and as Director of Music at the United Methodist Church of Darien, CT. He also taught private voice lessons, and was on the faculty of Post University in Waterbury, CT.
