 Larry Shackley

Larry Shackley [b.1956] is a full-time composer and arranger from Chapin, SC.  From 1995-2007, he taught and directed the music program at Columbia International University in Columbia, SC. From 2007-2020, he was a choral and keyboard editor for The Lorenz Corporation, and also edited four of their choir and keyboard magazines. He studied at the Eastman School of Music, Wheaton College, and the University of South Carolina, where he received a Doctor of Musical Arts degree in composition in 2002. His published compositions include almost 700 keyboard arrangements, 350 choral pieces, as well as film and radio scores and concert works. Larry and his wife Joni have four grown children and six grandchildren.
