Sung-eun Jo [b.1984] graduated at the top of her class from Chung-Ang University's Department of Composition and began her career as a choral composer in 2004. Over the years, she has been commissioned to compose for many professional city and district choirs, as well as various amateur choirs across Korea. Her extensive portfolio includes over 400 pieces, ranging from Latin masses and Korean choral works to Easter and Christmas cantatas and sacred music.

In addition to her compositions, she is a frequent lecturer at music associations, churches, and academic institutions. Her previous experience includes serving as an instructor for the "Isori Ensemble" (the world’s first children's choir for the hearing impaired) and as a professor at the Korea Choral Composition Academy.
