“El Besu” (“The Kiss”) is based on a hauntingly beautiful folk tune from the Principality of Asturias in northwestern Spain. This tender love song will provide a nice contrast to a program that features several upbeat pieces. To be sung in the original language, a transliteration is included in the score.
