The Star looks down on a baby;
A Baby so meek and mild.
Born on this night is a King to be,
but now he is only a child.

When Christ was born of Mary,
The heavens were filled with light.
The beam of the Star leading all near and far
to a stable the birthplace this night.

Star Light, Star bright,
radiant beams in the heavenly sky.
Star of wonder shining on this night
leading wisemen and shepherds
with angels on high.

The Star shines bright for the wond'ring,
The Sky is filled with a light
leading all to a place;
with our hearts we embrace the Child,
the Star of love this night.

Guide us to Thy perfect light.
