The World is dark: No Sun! No Moon!
I see nothing!
The soundless Wind, he sings not Mid-Winter’s tune.
I hear nothing!
When comes the Sun to warm the woodland creatures few?
I feel nothing!

Snow-sapped ground in Winter’s keep.
Even the Stars, they seem to sleep.
Silvery Moon, she dreams.
Soundless Wind, he sleeps it seems.

Iluminate the World!
Fill it with Light!
Bring on the Dawn!
Come Daybreak!
