In this emotional and lyrical piece for highly advanced mixed choral ensembles, the composer combines the tragic sadness of losing a loved one who has passed away with the vibrant vitality of spring. The four-hand piano accompaniment and the melodies of the flute (or traditional Korean Daegeum) and oboe (or traditional Korean Piri), which give a pastoral feeling, add to the pictorial and folk-like expression of the poem.
