Amelia's Dream

With freedom her compass, Amelia took flight,
Her twin engine Lockheed, through tempest and night.
Embracing horizons, her spirit took wing,
Not bound by the earth, but bound by her dream.

So look now beyond the lens of the mind,
And set a new course with limits behind.
When hope seems to dim, obscuring the light
Set a new course in perpetual flight.

Amelia, since childhood, a soft whispered call,
To lands past the sun, far beyond earthly walls.
For peace requires courage, and courage the cost
To stand up to fear, and worlds yet uncrossed
