When I Look Up To The Stars
When I look up to the stars, shining brightly.
A sea of diamonds soft with light, luminous constellations.
I wonder who across the world can see the stars I see.
I wonder, who has dreams of peace, stars sing of who I’ll be.
I can feel my feet on the ground, and the world spins ‘round.
Though I don’t know your name, and we speak different languages,
Our differences are small, our goal is all the same;
To live in peace, yes, carry the flame!
When we look up to the stars, we send a wish of peace with ev’ry light.
The storms of war may cease for the children of the world.
I can’t believe how small I feel, when gazing at the wonder
Of children laughing, dreaming free, in the stars connect with me!
I can feel my feet on the ground, and the world spins round.
