I Sail

I sail on hope of other shores,
of changing winds on which my spirit soars.
And through the storms, my heart, it will endure.
I sail because I’m yours.

My course is set, my head held high.
I long to be where ocean traces sky.
Beyond that isle where all my fancies fly. I'll get there if I try.

Upon the sea and in the air,
I hold the key to a new and brighter morning!
There, in the shining somewhere,
I've found my home.
I am home.

I'm bound along this shimm'ring glow.
From here below, I meet tomorrow's dawn.
For this I know: there's farther, still, to go!
